Tidal Wave 4 is a Psilocybe cubensis variety derived from the Tidal Wave line.
The Tidal Wave 4 grow kit combines B+ and Penis Envy genetics while retaining a fruiting-body form that remains closer to classic cubensis than the more unusual Tidal Wave mutations.

About Tidal Wave 4
The Tidal Wave line was created by crossing B+ with Penis Envy and is associated with the Magic Myco team led by Doma Nunzio. B+ is linked with dynamic development, while Penis Envy is known for substantial fruiting bodies and characteristics often associated with elevated tryptamine content. Numerous variants were subsequently selected from this genetic background. Tidal Wave 4 retained a comparatively conventional morphology, which distinguishes it from Tidal Wave 2 and the Enigma mutation.

Structure and appearance of Tidal Wave 4
The fruiting bodies develop long, pale stems and golden-brown caps. Young caps are distinctly conical and remain relatively compact in relation to the stems. As the fruiting bodies mature, the caps broaden while preserving the line’s slender overall proportions. Tidal Wave 4 also shows a pronounced tendency to bruise blue. Blue discolouration may appear after the tissue is touched or mechanically disturbed and can be more visible than in classic varieties such as Golden Teacher.

Young fruiting bodies retain closed, dark-golden caps and slender stems. Maturity is recognised by the gradual opening of the caps and the breaking of the veil beneath them. The source material associates the line with relatively rapid early development followed by a longer maturation period. It also describes the Full Auto format as requiring minimal routine handling and associates development with stable temperatures of approximately 21–25°C, gentle air movement and protection from contamination sources.
