Right of withdrawal

  1. When you buy a Product from us, you have the right to withdraw from the Agreement without giving any reason during a Cooling-off period of 14 days, unless a statutory exception applies. The following paragraphs of this article apply only insofar as the Right of withdrawal applies to your purchase.
  2. The Right of withdrawal does not apply to Grow Kits and liquid cultures. Grow Kits and liquid cultures are living, biological products which deteriorate rapidly and have a limited Shelf life, and the Right of withdrawal is excluded for goods of that kind. We inform you of this exclusion on the product page and in the checkout, before you place your order.
  3. The Right of withdrawal does apply to Products that do not deteriorate rapidly and do not have a limited Shelf life. The Returns and Refunds Policy states which Products those are and how you return them.
  4. For a Product that we supply sealed, the Right of withdrawal also lapses once you break the Seal. We seal our Products to keep them sterile and, once the Seal is broken, the Product is no longer suitable for return for reasons of health protection and hygiene.
  5. The Cooling-off period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), have received the Product. If a single order contains multiple Products that are delivered separately, the Cooling-off period begins on the day you receive the last Product.
  6. During the Cooling-off period, you must handle the Product and its packaging with care. You may only handle and inspect the Product in the same way as you would be permitted to do in a shop. You are liable for any loss of value resulting from handling the Product in a manner that goes beyond what is necessary.
  7. To exercise your Right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the Cooling-off period using the model form in Annex 1, the function on our website, or by means of another unambiguous statement. You must return the Product as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after giving notice.
  8. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the Product, unless you have a valid complaint as described in article 11.6. We state those costs, or a reasonable estimate of them, on the product page and in the checkout before you place your order.
  9. We will refund all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs, no later than 14 days after you have notified us of the withdrawal. We may delay the refund until we have received the Product or until you have provided evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first. We will refund you using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to a different method. Refunds from us are free of charge for you.
  10. If you have chosen a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest standard delivery, we are not obliged to refund the additional costs.

Use this form to exercise your withdrawal right under applicable EU consumer protection law. Submitting it registers your request and we will confirm by email; it does not by itself mean the withdrawal is accepted.

Your withdrawal is subject to the legal deadlines and conditions: the 14-day period (for goods, counted from delivery; for digital content, from the start of the download) and the statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal. We verify these before confirming, so submitting a request does not by itself guarantee its acceptance.
